Well, I finally moved out of this dump.
As a favor to Management before moving we allowed them to enter the unit two days early to start the turnover process.
I don't know why we did, because we have had nothing but problems with them as do all of the residents.
We were just so happy to be moving out of there and didn't want to make waves, I guess.
Anyways, the cleaning crew threw our personal belongings from our bathroom down the trash chute.
The painters, who were not granted permission to enter by us, moved our personal property and broke many of our personal items.
When Management was contacted by us and came to the unit to see the damages they accused US of destroying our own property! We left the unit in great shape, but destroyed our own property' I was a bit mad to say the least.
I asked Management if there was a form to fill out for loss of property or if there was an avenue to go down to have something done.
They said "No, do what you gotta do".
A prime example of the professionalism demonstrated yet again by Stuart Management Co.
I found our shower curtain in the community dumpster at the bottom of the trash chute.
Wrapped inside was the rest of our bathroom belongings and the empty and used cleaning items used by the turnover staff.
Even with this proof (they refused to walk to the dumpster to look) Management refused to take any responsibility.
Upon calling the owner of Stuart Management Co.
we were refunded $150 dollars of our last months rent.
We were told that if we wanted to collect anything more from them, we would have to take them to court.
We were told by Management that "Residents are always trying to get over on us." That pretty much sums up the horrible attitude about residents shown by Stuart Management Co.
