When my roommate and I moved into this apartment there was a different management company. The new management has basically driven every decent person out of the place, and is charging way more than the apartments are worth. The laundry facilities are horrible, the noise is even worse (plus the new management won't even try to do anything about it!). The office staff is simply horrible (excepting one woman, who is also fed up with what is happening here and is leaving for another job!) and does nothing other than talk down to the residents (of course, we could NEVER understand what is REALLY happening, we're just the stupid residents!). I wish I had never signed a lease here, and I can tell you that I am out of here as soon as possible. Move on, people. Find another place to live. There is NO WAY I would ever want anyone to live here.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. We'd love for you to come to Royal Oaks, but we don't give discounts eiether. Who have you talked to? I've heard Robin is really nice and I've heard it's company policies that are tough there, if that's the case, there's no reason to take your frustration out on the people that work there. Good luck in finding your new home and just a little 2 cents.... you will never find a "perfect" apartment.... and if you do CALL ME!!!! :)

Unless it is corporate policy to be condescending, it is truly a problem with the office staff. There is absolutely no reason to outright lie to residents or treat them like their requests to have their heat fixed are unreasonable. I am not asking for perfection in any way, shape or form. I am asking for fair, honest, and decent management that treats me with respect.

When the emergency light outside our door was out for 14 MONTHS, they kept telling us that they had to go through corprate to order special lights, that they couldn't just have them replaced. Then they posted a piece of paper over it saying "replaced". We tested it, it still didn't work.
