After being obtained by Reef Property management things have gone way downhill. The building is in a constant state of ill repair and is not kept clean. Maintenance issues are "logged" and tended to eventually - sometimes. For example, when our washing machine broke, we were advised to do our laundry in an unlocked vacant unit within our building until they could get to it - took over a week.

The staff is ill courteous and ill concerned with the property as none of them actually live on site. It's a job to them and at the end of the day they get to go home and forget about "your" problems. Should you opt to complain to them, you get stonewalled and they just stop listening to you.

Also be aware that you will hear your neighbors. Every step they take on the creaky floors and every note that that swells from their TV/stereo. Each night I shut off my TV just to listen to the neighbors as I try to get to sleep. If their dog barks, you hear it. Complaints about animal noise are disregarded.

Lights in entry ways are left burnt out - an obvoius security risk. The staff smokes in the common areas of the building (e.g. the garage) - a clear violation of the clean indoor air act. Plumbing access pannels are left open exposing pipes and sharp objects that could be accessed by a child or pet - a definite safety concern. The parking lot is dimly lit and does not arrouse a sense of safety. The workout room is covered with a layer of road salt and gets a quick once over about once a month. Deliveries made to the office are often left in a pile in the lobby area for anyone to walk off with until they find the time to secure them. Entries are often jammed open as multiple occupants are not on the lease and do not have keys to the building. The garage doors work sporatically and if the elevator works it is a good day. All of these issues were brought to the management's attension an all but the entry way light bulbs remain open issues. Likely they were all "logged" and forgotten.

For the lack of service and ammenities, I am certain that better accomodations can be found elsewhere in EP and at a better rate. Of my numerous renting experiences this has been by far the worst I have had.

I know for a fact that most employees no longer live on site because they own their own homes. And frankly, would you want to live at your job? Most people want a break from their work when they aren't getting paid.
Just a thought, if you do not like the sound of dogs barking, and don't have one of your own, maybe you should move into one of the other seven buildings that do not allow dogs.
