I lived at Eden Place for around two and a half years. I have to say, I wasn't exactly satisfied with the place, but I wasn't exactly dissatisfied.
There a lot of pros/cons.
For instance, the place comes with a washer/dryer, a tennis court, swimming pools, and a clubhouse. The landscaping is beautifully done, but trust me this is all a misconception. Once you actually go inside, you will see that the place looks like it hasn't been renovated in 20 years. All of the appliances are from the eighties, and our apartment was invaded several times because of carcinogens that were located in the apartments. The plumbing was very poor, and our toilet was CONSTANTLY overflowing. OVERFLOWING. It was honestly a mess living there. The walls are very paper thin so you can hear the conversation going on next door, and overall, the place just feels really cheap.
As for management, they were meh. I have no complaints. Maintenance was okay, but they hardly ever completely solved the problem. It felt like we had to keep making the same calls.
Most of the people who lived there were foreign, and I'm no racist, but the place often smelt like curry when first entering the complex.
All in all, I can't expect the place to be perfect. It is an apartment complex after all. But, I highly discourage people from living there if they sweat the small stuff.

I just moved into Eden Place a couple of months ago. I found that my dryer was not connected, my toilet was running, my refrigerator door would not stay shut, and there was a broken handle on my oven door. All of those things were fixed within the day I filed a work order. And when the toilet continued to have problems, the inside plumbing was replaced the same day. The appliances are old, but all of the ones that I have seen are Amanas. The only noise I have heard from other apartments has been the couple fighting upstairs, but their windows were open. As to the foreign element, most of the people living there aren't foreign. There are a number of Indian nationals living there, partly because the businesses that bring them to the United States see Eden Place as a good resource for long term accomodation to their overseas employees. The Indian residents in this complex are well-educated, personable folks who are typically in this country on long term business visas. They are conservative in their dress and behavior, as well as having traditional family values. The women are usually home with the children and the children are well-behaved. This is not a group that is going to crank up the stereo and party all night long, or get drunk and start screaming abuse at their spouses and children for whatever reason. I work with several people from India and have made friends in the complex. I haven't notice the smell of anything in particular in the halls. The garbage accumulated in the basement, however, is another problem altogether and one that I heartily agree is G*R*O*S*S.
I have read various reviews of the noise between apartments at Eden Place. We cannot hear a thing from next door and they cannot hear us, despite having our TV on the common wall. It is possible that there are problems with certain units in certain buildings, but I have no complaints myself. For example, I have a friend on the second floor who hears a lot of noise from the side walk below her apartment due to the location of her bedroom windows.
No place is perfect. If we all could afford to own our own homes, and some of us have, we would know that there are many things that we would have make do with, even if there were other things that could be as we wish.
I would recommend anyone interested to take a look at this complex and compare the cost of renting here to other units in the area. You get a lot more bang for your buck at Eden Place, let me tell you!
