My experience at Fountain Place Apartments was not only rediculous, but actually unbelievable. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done about it because it wasn't due to other residents, but the staff and management. A couple specific examples are as follows:

Upon lease signing I was told that I would have access to the fitness room, only to receive a notice a few months later describing how they were changing the locks on the fitness room and I would have to turn in my key and pay a NONREFUNDABLE FEE of $25 for a new key to continue using it.

My rent bill arrived the day after the last acceptable day rent was due, and I was charged a late fee of $75 for paying it that day.

REFUSAL to give me a "rent paid" slip for filing my taxes. Claimed that only 1 was given out per apartment even though we had 3 people on the lease. I'm pretty sure not giving one specifically under my name was illegal.

Parking lot only cleared once all winter.

Animal feces on the ground and the trash can for said feces absolutely full.

My overall experience here was not what I would expect from an apartment complex that charges a good amount. I would ONLY reccommend this place if you are looking for an apartment SOLEY based on location. I would give the office staff the absolute lowest rating as far as taking care of any complaints you may have. If you are looking for a place with horrible staff and one that will threaten to fine you at every turn, this is the place for you.

I agree with this review comment. The location is the single most feature that I like about this place. The office staff: Except for Chad and the property manager Nicole. I dont like to talk to anyone else. The maintenance staff : I would rate them as 4.5 out of 10. The apartment policies are ridiculous. You cannot be charged late fee if you have not received your rent due slip. It is insane. When i signed the lease, you could rent the community hall. But, they have just decided to stop renting the community hall because they have decided to move some of the office staff to the huge and awesome community hall. But because the office computers are in that room they cannot lease the community hall anymore. This is not the worst place i have lived. But because of the treatement you are given it does feel like the worst. Again, Chad is the only person in the office I like to talk to. Nicole is fine too but she is available only 9 to 3:30 or 4.
