As it stands I haven t been here too long yet but so far so good.
I looked at the apartments first before reviewing this site and others for opinions which I usually don t do in that order. I loved what I saw, the apartments were everything I was looking for and exactly what I needed. I signed up to move in and then, 2 weeks before moving in thought to check this site. I was sick after reading how horrible this place was written up as. I immediately called the apartment complex and I had a list of things to go over. I wanted to look at the specific apartment I was to be moving into, it looked fine.
I checked windows and seals, they also looked fine.
I checked the garages, no broken glass, no sign of anything bad going on.
I asked specifically about mice and promised them if I had a mouse we would have severe issues.
I also called EP police and asked to see the monthly report for this complex, they said I would have to ask management. I did so, they seemed a little taken aback, but none the less I still looked through them. Nothing out of the ordinary there. A couple domestics, and there were 2 car break ins in the building I was moving to. They just recently changed the access to get into the garages so this wouldn t be an issue. Also, its common sense, don t leave crap in your car if you don t want it stolen.

I hesitantly decided to continue my pursuit to live at fountain place. We moved in and no issues on moving day. The apartment looked gorgeous. We had brand new carpeting, the appliances were dated, but its an apartment, and that s to be expected. The neighbors seem really friendly. Haven t met or even seen one rude one yet. Haven t heard or seen any kids running in the halls. There were previous complaints about the smells of others cooking and I cant smell anything. I cant hear anything either, occasionally I will hear a dog bark from down the hall, but its not constant so who cares'

Parking looks like it has the possibility of being an issue but to date it hasn t been. The back hallways (with stairs) sort of have a bit of a stench but I think that is because of the amount of dogs in my building obviously some people take better care of smells from animals. The normal hallways don t smell. I've yet to see a bug, roach, mouse, rat, or any other varmint. So, all in all no complaints out of me.

If you read these reviews, remember most people only come on here because they are disgruntled or have some issue. Take it with a grain of salt.
