My living experience was a nightmare! The week I moved in, my neighbors below reported leaky pipes and maintenance put a hole in my closet wall to exchange the faucet. Over a year later, that hole was still in my closet wall!! When I reported leaky pipes from my upstairs neighbors, the office manager told me it wasn't a priority for them to be fixed. My carpet was dirty and old, my upstairs neighbors were really loud, the elevator was too slow, and the carpet in the garage lobby smelled like sewage. Last problem I reported was a leaky pipe under my kitchen sink and I had written a maintenance request and turned it in about eleven am. Four hours later, my problem hadn't been fixed, so I inquired why and how long I had to wait. The office attendant looked like she hadn't moved from her chair all day, and was very rude regarding my request. She told me that maintenance was too busy to look at my problem, and that they would come on their convenience, and that I should have reported it sooner. Then, maintenance came up and pounded on my door and looked at the leaky pipes. He said that they were loose and that it was my fault and that he was too busy with his work agenda to provide any sort of timely manner, not to mention any sort of politeness. He was extremely rude, and he smelled like he was too busy smoking cigarettes complete his duties while on the job. He then wasted more time by insulting me in my own home where I pay an extreme amount of money in rent. I was not impressed. I would never wish my friends, family, or anybody to live under those conditions.
