When I woke up this morning, the power was out in half of my apartment. I called the office number, even though it was 6 am, got through to the Answering Service, was told that they had received a number of calls about power being out but they couldn't do anything until the office people came in...what time do they come in'' Nothing was done until almost 10 am...there was probably no power in the office so they must have called Xcel. So, what good does it do to call with an "emergency" when the Answering Service won't do anything about it, just tell you that you have to wait until the office staff gets in'

I would like to clarify the situation. I am the manager, I was personally responding to the issue starting at 4am. We could not fix the problem ourselves as it was an issue with Xcel's equipment. But I did walk the buildings myself in the early morning, open up garage doors that had no power, and worked to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. I do apologize if the information you receieved from the answering service did not reiterate to you what had already been done. But I can assure you that I was up far before most to get it taken care of and cause as little inconvenience to the residents here as possible.
