Parkway issued a flier to all of there residents urging them to post a "positive review of Parkway" on this site to be eligible for a cash drawing. Don't believe that this place is great just because some people write positive reviews. I feel that Parkway Apartments are decent but they can definitely improve in some areas.

They have a machine that adds credits to your laundry card here but the machine has been out of order for over 3 months now. The underground parking trash receptacles are often overflowing and the whole garage reeks of trash. The Hallways smell pretty bad, almost like pee. Its definitely not a cooking smell.

Maintenance here is decent but you have to be persistent because they will try to talk you out having repairs done. The security of the building is also an issue, the doors are often left propped open and anyone can enter the building through the underground garage by just following a vehicle when they open the garage door. The door between the garage and the apartment locks from the inside but not the outside so people from the garage have access to the apartments but people from the apartments don't have access to the garage.

Overall, I would say that Parkway is a decent place to live but if problems arise when you live here, you may find yourself with an awful headache. I've lived in better places, and worse, and I feel that this place is somewhere in the middle. Make sure you look around before jumping into a lease here.

You're right. You can't trust most of these reviews. That's because it's a website that only unhappy, distraught people come to say nasty things that probably aren't even true. Not because Parkway asked for positive reviews. I got the same flyer under my door. It didn't say "Go to Apt Ratings and lie" It just said "Post a Positive Review" People that don't have positive things to say, don't have to be involved in the promotion, that's all. So what if management asked??

some people need to get a life and a better hobby. You must be very un happy with your life to come on the compputer everyday and post bad things about parkway. If you dont like the place than move. I'm sick of people postings things about where i live because it is trully a beautiful place! With nice employess as well. Who ever that is posting things grow up and get a life. I live in parkway and they take care of things damn good! Considering all the buildings and apartments they have. This is not a employee eather. I live in building 13800 and i would have said these things before the promotion! I can't believe that this person has nothing better else to do with there time besides sit on the computer all day and bad mouth parkway! get a life. and people who are looking for a nice plac to live COME TO PARKWAY IT'S BEAUTIFUL!

I agree with the review. I find it ironic that I got the notice to enter a prize drawing by submitting a positive review when the office staff can't even give me an idea of when the problems I've been complaining about for months will be resolved... The machine that adds money to the laundry cards has not been working for the past 6 months - I know because that's when I had to start going to the office during business hours to give them a check to add to my laundry card (and I looked through my check register to verify this). The treadmills in the exercise room have not been working for more than 2 months, and the heated indoor pool is never warm enough to actually swim in. So, I've had to buy a gym membership to work out. The garage generally smells pretty bad due to the garbage. Enough that people have commented on the odor in my car... I am also tired of coming home to find that the doors have been propped open. I rented what I thought was an apartment in a security building for a reason, but at this point, nonresidents can get into the building almost any time due to people propping doors open. And when I had a problem with MICE, I had to take care of it myself because Parkway would only place NONBAITED traps and would not look to find and plug the holes they were getting in through. Don't get me wrong - I really like to staff and my apartment itself is quite nice. However, if you're in the market to rent a new apartment and are looking for amenities, this isn't the place! So,

Have to agree with this, funny enough you cant even go out to the pool without "stuff" bugging you thet you cant be ther, Funny enough they pay money just to get this rewiws to become good, but its just wasting your time looking at APT. like this, they are nesty, carpet smells like Pee and so on, not to mention the indore pool is almost outdors and broken. Evryhting is broken and Menagers like to lie a lot, not to mention evryone knows whats going on in your life(Like how mutch you pay for your APt, and wher you leve. and so on)

Shut up trisha! I'm not bashing parkway I'm speaking the truth, If you didn't like my comment why did you post? I have the right to post a bad comment like anyone else and I don't even feel that my comments were that bad. Parkway is mediocre at best in my opinion. Maybe you should get a life trisha, your comments were meaner then mine!
