Parkway Apartments

Yuck! I grew up in Eden Prairie my entire life--this is not the Eden Prairie I grew to love. The residents are trashy and destroy things. There is urine in the carpets and common areas. The security doors are constantly broken. The price is WAYYYYY too high for such tiny apartments. There is nothing for children to play on--they have a swimming pool that's opened sometimes, but no playground equipment or anything. There were countless problems with the apartment that were not fixed. Yuck yuck. I would never recommend this place. They need to get new management involved and kick half the nasty residents out of there.

You must be referring to another property. The buildings are cleaned everyday and smell great! There are 2 working pools and 1 more brand new outdoor pool being built. There is a very nice playlot for kids behind 13775 building. All of the apartments are being upgraded as they are turned over. Double check your address and make sure you realize where you are living.

I know exactly what apartment building I'm referring to. I'm referring to the nasty Parkway apartments, the building I stayed in, the pool that was constantly broken and the fact that the residents were not friendly and were peeing in the hallways, breaking the security door, and attacked me on two occasions. As an Eden Prairie resident for 40 years, I'm quite familiar with the area. Do you know where you live?

I've lived here for a few months, and twice a month I see the management shampooing the hallway carpets (if that's b/c something happened, I'm not sure). So, I have zero complaints about my building. I'm in building 2, and there's a playground/swings behind it. You can see it from Anderson Lakes.
I would guess that if you had kids, you would look into playing facilities for them before you moved, if that was important to you. I don't think it's up to the building to entertain children.
All of the residents in my building are super friendly and some even offered to help me move!
Sorry you had a bad experience! I hope you find a better fit for you!

Sarah I donno who u are referring to but it was certainly not me..the playground facility doesn't really affect me cuz I dont have kids but its a nice thing to hav I guess for tenants that do have kids....they might shampoo the hallway every day cuz it smells bad or somethin but that doesn't necessarily change the attitude they show when you walk up to the office...they will call you with allegations that are not true and act as if they're LETTING you know...anyhow this is not a place where anyone can live peacefully..some ppl might be able to...so good luck to them!
