I live in the pet building. I guess it is the building to live in b/c the dogs and cats keep the mice and the cockroaches away. I have even heard the management say that there are many problems with mice and cockroaches in the other apartments and that I am lucky to live in the pet building. But do you like to step outside your door and have pet waste right there in the hallway'

Do you like to sleep' Well, if you do, don't live here. I can hear the resident above walk every step. I know every move he makes. I wake up every night to the one of the neighbors. We have complained twice now, but nothing has been done.

can't wait to move out. i really hate living here. Don't move in to CEDARS.

Management is friendly though.

At Cedars of Edina, we take great care in providing a clean living environment for all residents. We have a designated pet building for people who live with animals. It is our policy that residents are responsible to clean up after their pets whether inside of their apartments or on the grounds. On a daily basis we have a designated caretaker for each building who maintains the cleanliness of the halls, common areas and laundry rooms. We have an additional caretaker, in our pet friendly building, whose job it is to take care of the surrounding grounds. We have provided a designated walk area for pets to get their daily excercise. Given the nature of apartment living, it is not always possible to eliminate all noise such as; televisions, radios, or other normal living sounds. Residents are encouraged to handle complaints between themselves in a neighborly manner. However, if resident communication does not work, residents may call the management office while the noise is occurring. Management will be in contact with both parties to resolve the issue. Our intention is to provide a quiet, serene living environment for all residents.
