comfortable and convenient

The only thing that I can figure from all of these poor reviews is that my neighbors must be ridiculously high maintanence people.
I've lived in Cedars for nearly a year now and have been completely content. I've had no mice. I've had no bugs. Occasionally I hear people in the hallway, but it's an apartment building; you live with it. I have a studio and find the price very reasonable for the amount of space I have. My apartment hasn't been updated in a while and might look slightly dated, but everything is clean and functional. I've loved having access to a heated garage that's right underneath my apartment (which is an additional $50/month, but WELL worth it). The proximity to 62 and 494 can't be beat.
I don't interact with the staff much since I haven't had any problems, but the interactions that I HAVE had have been 100% positive. I moved here from another city and they didn't hesistate to offer to help me get comfortable and learn Minneapolis. All apartment policies are clearly outlined before you sign the lease - if you're irresponsible or dirty, you might run into problems, but all of the policies seem completely reasonable. The staff is very patient despite the fact that some residents here are clearly needlessly antagonistic.
