I like how management waits a couple of days and then posts some nice reviews to try and even things out. They're making themselves less and less credible with each posting. 31 year residents just signing on now to talk about the community' What a joke! They expect people to believe it. They know who lives here so they can make up stories and take photos from vacant apartments. How embarrassing if the actual resident they're pretending to be be would see that they're being used as Cedar's puppet on here. This site will notify you when there's new reviews and responses...you know Cedars is watching it closely. They're just like the grounds here, pretty on the outside and ugly on the inside.

There was honest reviews on here and now they're blended with a bunch of fluffy writing to try and fool all the suckers out there. You can tell how they write and you can tell by the subject matter. Look at all the bad things that have been said recently and then look at the good reviews trying SO hard to convince the reader that it's not true. They like to go on and on about the grounds and the buildings outside appearances because that's all they got. They never talk about what's inside! The old fixtures, the water problems, the pest problems, the crime. They mention what they've TRIED to do to fix those problems but chances are it'll only get worse as time goes on. They say we who speak out against them have an agenda and all we want to do is bring them down. I don't want to see them go down but I would like to see them live up to their promises, eliminate unnecessary fees, and not prey on the Indian community.

Why? Ulterior motives? Why would someone hide their identity and spend hours and hours posting numerous vicious, vindictive and disparaging remarks against an apartment community where apparently they have never lived, while an overwhelmingly vast majority of the actual residents appreciate, enjoy and continue to renew their leases year after year and recommend it to their friends and co-workers? The anonymous poster seems to suggest that the 1000 plus people living at Cedars of Edina are either na??ve or stupid, which of course they are neither. We respectfully suggest to the readers of this website that reviews written and signed by actual residents, particularly one by an unbiased and current 31 year resident, is certainly more credible, reliable and trustworthy than an anonymous poster. We invite you to visit us and personally see why Cedars is, and continues to be, the choice for residents who want to love where they live!

Believe me CaptainAn, if it wasn't for the lease binding me here I'd be out in a minute! Unfortunately with the economy the way it is I can't afford to cover the obscene lease breakage and subletting fees Cedars has in place.

Couldn't agree more with you!!!!!! The managers and employees are so fake! And you know for a fact 31 years living at a place would not wait till there are bad reviews to post a review. They will go down and i hope for anyone who reads this site you can tell which reviews are real and fake. ha ha watch management read this posting and is thinking crap we gotta write different reviews more from the residents prospective! If the owners of the complex actually hired good employees and took more care of the more important stuff then maybe they would get some business. They think cause they have indoor pool that they can make people pay more rent. These people are pathetic

I don't agree with this at all. I get all of these emails whenever this site is updated and it gets really annoying when people make these kinds of stupid claims. It wasn't until I came on here and read all of these negative reviews that I wanted to post about my wonderful experiance here. You can post messages and responses as a staff member which would have a lot more impact than a positive review from a long time resident. Get off your high horse and move if you don't like it here. I love all my neighbors and live with a lot of people that have been here for a long time. I have also lived in a lot worse apartments with staff that didn't come close to the staff here.

seems to me the staff is spending as much time on here as the people posting the negative reviews. using an online alias or email address isn't any more credible than posting anonymously. both can be made up on a whim and often don't use their actual name. just because someone says it's real doesn't make it real, especially on the internet.
