I am so frustrated with every aspect of living in Springbrook apartments. I actually could not find one good thing to say if I tried. Hmmm ok let's start from the beginning. The first problem was the carpeting, they told us that new carpet was installed. There at no point were new carpets installed. The first week I attempted to cook dinner, when after my food was in the oven for 30 minutes, i realized the damn thing didn't even work. And then it was our fridge. It took them nearly a month to get us a 'different' one. Not even a new one... but at least our food is staying cold, and fresh. For awhile we stopped buying refrigerated food since it would just spoil. Maintenance told us the same thing I read in another complaint, that we probably caused it by allowing water to leak from the freezer!!! The latest problem here, has been the mold we found on ALL of our windows. HUGE HEALTH CONCERN, its just disturbing that we had mold in all 3 of the bedrooms *PICTURES BELOW*. And if the problem wasn't worst enough they tried to blame it on us, and accused us of having a humidifer that "supposedly" caused the mold problem! I just have to laugh, these people are on something, or have total disregard for the health and comfort of the occupancy here. The staff here act like your the problem, instead of trying to resolve the issue at hand. Paying $1,300 a month you think the complex would be treated with some dignity, instead everything here is a piece of crap. Like everyone says, a diamond in the rough at first glance, but once you move in the real problems start to happen. Don't let the workout room, and pool fool you. What you see: 2 ellipticals, 2 treadmills, some weights, and a bike. What you get: 1 elliptical that either needs to be repaired or replaced because it squeaks when you're on it. The other one doesn't even work, why it continue to sits there, phases me. 1 of the two treadmills work, which is nice if you luckily are the only one in there. As for the pool, from what I have heard not very sanitary things go on in there. It's all quite disgusting! For the rest of this complaint I could continue on with a list of work orders, but I don't think that will convince you not to move in, because you are already smart enough to be reading these reviews, and hopefully you have done so before you move in. I wish I would of researched this place before I made the mistake of moving in. HARD LESSON learned for sure!
