When we first visited Chasewood Gates we were shown a beautiful, well maintained "model" of what all of the cluster homes were suppose to look like. The carpet was nice, walls freshly painted, etc... so we signed a lease based on the quality of this model. What we actually got was not anything like the model. The day we moved in there were broken closet doors in two different rooms, a very noticable burnt place in the middle of my childs carpet floor and the carpeting in other areas of the apartment was heavily stained and worn. There was a huge gash in the corner of one wall next to our dining area that I later learned the maintenance guy had done and never fixed... these are only a few of the problems.
In addition, we share a vent with our upstairs neighbors so when they smoke or cook something, it's just like they were right here in our apartment with us and there is no type of sound barrier so when they stay up on a Thursday night to party until 3am, we are forced to stay up with our kids because the noise scares them.
This has been the worst apartment experience I have ever had, they call these luxury apartments but I have stayed in much better ones. The only positive note is the landscaping and apartment grounds... they look really nice almost all of the time, but it isn't a kid friendly enviornment, I would not recommend this place.
