I have lived at Chasewood Gates for two years. My apartment has never been properly cleaned since we moved in. The carpet was initially dirty, we requested it be cleaned. It never happenened. Once we decided to renew our lease for another year, we were told we can pay them to spot clean our carpet, have an outside company do it, or do it ourselves. The apartment itself has not been updated what so ever. The doors are cheap and thin. We didn't get a new washer and dryer unit until ours was completely broken. Other then that, all of our appliances are quite old. Maintenance is slow and lacking. The management office staff is extremely rude once you become a tenant. They have lied to me about my lease and the rules and regulations, too bad I'm in real estate and know better. Due to their rudeness and the lack of updates, I am moving to a brand new apartment with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, wood floors, and cherry cabinets, for only $200 more a month. If you look at what's available for apartments, there are much better ones out there. Also, I have recently noticed the safety I once felt I no longer feel. Cars have been broken into in the private underground parking garages, and the parking lots and streets are pitch black at night. Also, the management office tried to keep the break ins a secret.
