This has been my experience with GreenField Apartments so far. I went a week ago to visit a one bedroom apartment. They showed me the actual apartment I would be living in. It had also just been renovated with new appliances, carpet, counters, and cabinets. She also gave us the option of choosing three colors to paint our walls out of a ton. The apartment I saw was very well maintained. No broken floorboards or anything, everything was pristine. It actually looked as if this was the case for everything on the grounds. The hallways were a bit older, but way better maintained than a lot of the buildings I have visited. The elevator was a bit cramped and I could see that being a downfall, but everything else was quite nice. The office staff has been very helpful so far as well. And No, I'm not an "insider." I'm a regular person who has been using this website exhaustively to find an apartment.

I have visited a ton of apartment buildings within the past month, and to be honest, this was waaaaay better than most I had seen. I think the people who are commenting probably need to grow up a little and realize that apartment buildings have problems with stuff breaking down, mice always have the chance of getting in, and sometimes neighbors are noisy. I don't think i've ever lived in an apartment that hasn't had at least some of those issues. If apartments and homes stayed nice, Home Depot and Lowes wouldn't have nearly as much business.

I don't know if things all of a sudden go to hell when you move in, but so far, I think all the people commenting are ridiculous.

Well said Greenfield survivor, could not have said it better myself!!!! WAIT just WAIT until they are subjected to a 'base concert' every night and day, and NO ONE will do anything about it. we'll see how they feel then!

I am glad you are happy. However, I lived there three years and I can tell you when they are trying to get you to rent they treat you like you great. Wait until you have a noise complaint and they tell you to call the cops becuase they cant do anything. The cops will tell you to call the office and I gurantee you NOT A THING WILL BE DONE Oh, the elevators when not being used by people escaping, I mean moving only work 1/3 of the time. Wait until your neighbor has a peeing contest of the balcony, or your perfect apartment needs to have something repaired and they get around it a week or 4 later. Wait until they tow your car because their less than 24 hour notice was not enought time for you to move the car. Wait - until you sign your lease and the office who was so helpful and nice dont have time for you and treat you like you are nobody. They have your money they dont care. Wait until they raise your rent 20 %. That is the pet fee. After all they have to pay for the mice that infest your place Wait until the AC or heating doesnt work. When you are ready to complain - remember you were warned and you need TO GROW UP!

I find it hard to take this review seriously as they don't live at Greenfield and haven't had to deal with some of the headaches that we former residents have!

Greenfieldsurvivor, you are the one who seems to need to take some classes on manners and growing up because to me it sounds like you are the one with the attitude problem. Why would anybody bend over backwards to help you? From what I'm hearing from your mouth, on all your commenting, your a nasty jerk. It's people like you that taint the reviews!

Hmmmm.... My guess is that this was actually a staff employee trying to boost the rating. I lived there and some of the staff is very disrespectful unless you get in the office face to face, then they backpedal.
