ramsgate does not care about anything. they cator to certian residents who are allowed to live in filth (allowed BY ramsgate) and are not held to basic standards of cleanliness. this is most likely the main reason that RAMSGATE APARTMENTS (OWNED AND OPERATED BY HIGHLAND MANAGEMENT)is INFESTED with ROACHES and BED BUGS!!!!! pest control at ramsgate is a joke! the bugs migrate from apartment to apartment and this problem ends up affecting residents who are NOT filthy. before i lived at ramsgate apartments i had no ides what a "BED BUG" was and had never had ROACHES either. and to top it all off the pest control "specialist" had the audacity to suggest that I brought the bugs to my apartment at RAMSGATE! this was EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE to me, as i am sure you can understand. but enough about the bugs...
the office staff is semi helpful but how great can they TRULY, HONESTLY be if they allow their property to be overcome with bugs' also, they do not like to fix things that may cost them money. they will put you off and put you off and when you finally get really mad, they act like it was the first they had heard of your problem. maybe they need to have a "special talk" with thier maintinance staff. the maintinance staff IS friendly, however. the same can be said for the cleaning staff(at least the ones i met durring my nightmare at ramsgate. i feel sorry for them because they worked hard and seemed to get NOWHERE (most likely due to the high percentage of filthy disrespectful residents). so hats off to the cleaning staff at ramsgate, the only semi-decent factor at RAMSGATE APARTMENTS, and they could use some pointers as well.
DONT WALK AWAY FROM RAMSGATE, RUN. RUN FAST AND DO NOT LOOK BACK (because those roaches are fast and one might get home with you)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ps the only thing worse than the condition of most aspects of ramsgate apartments is the fact that i felt like they pulled the ol' "bait and switch" on me. i was not warned about bugs and was shown a great apartment only to be moved into a different, mediocre one. if you want to be lied to by office staff, go sign up with that place.
