I plsn to move to Blackberry Pointe within the next 2 months. I was more impressed with the building then with any other in the area. The apartments are huge compared to the others I have seen and it seems to be well managed.

How can you rate some place you haven't even lived in yet? Wait until you live here and then you will find out how bad the construction is when you live below someone. When you need some repairs done it may not ever get done. We moved in in Oct. 2004 and gave them a list of needed repairs done, well they have never been done yet, it is now 10/20/05. The gas alarm meters go off at least every week in the parking garage and it takes them all day to check it out, we could all blowup by then. The hallways are always smelly from all the ethnic cooking. The office is closed alot for "special occasions". They are usually not there until 4PM closing time when even when you call ahead to say you will be there for instance to sign some paperwork they asked for. The water sprinklers are usually spraying so high you can't get in the door without getting wet. The car windshield is always full mineral deposits from the sprinklers. They said they were going to have a hot tub that never materialized!! The pool only opened in July and closed Sept 2nd already. The walking paths were never paved so parts of it have washed away. Power has gone gone off in only certain rooms in our apartment they never give us a reason why that happens. The carwash is a joke someone drove over the spray nozzle that was good so it took the a month to replace it with a cheap nozzle that gives you no pressure. Definetly don't base your decision to live here on the decor because you will be sorry. I do give them credit for a nice decor and large rooms, but the cabinet doors are fairly worhthless. The heating and A/C vents blow towards the windows and not into the rooms. The pipes in the bathroom shake very noisily when the toilet is flushed. As far as the safety goes I am not so sure about that because when I was leaving for work at 5:30 AM and there was guy passed out by the elevator. Exercise room used to have 4 pieces of equipment and a TV but some weights were stolen and they removed one the bike and TV they also locked the bathrooms up too. Needless to say we will be moving out nest summer.
