Very impressed

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005
Our first day that we moved in, I walked into the office and was handed a letter to all residents that asked for help for families displaced by hurricane Katrina (New Orleans). The management company decided to 'adopt' a family that lost everything and was looking for help from residents.
This was such a dramatic change from the place we came from that it couldn't go by un-noticed. I was blown away that an apartment management company would even think about doing something so kind and well, human. This one thing really set the tone for us.
We have been here for about a month now and are continually impressed with their service. Of the 2-3 minor items that we listed on our move-in check list, they came back within 24 hours to replace or repair.
On our first Monday, we placed an order using Simon Delivers (our old place refused to consider this as an option and wouldn't even talk with them) and it was delivered to the designated spot - the office. Because of limited delivery options and our very long work days, we are not always able to pick up our order. I offered to pay someone from the office staff to deliver it from the office to our apartment and was told "absolutely not. we are here to make your lives easier. we'll deliver it for you. keep your money." Again, I was blown away.
We are paying about $150 more than we were at our last place, but for the amenities, service and overall improvement to our way of life - this place is well worth it.
I highly recommend this place!
