At first, Peggy seems nice but once a continued problem was not fixed, she became very rude. There is a loud noise in the walls, perhaps pipes rattling, and has not been fixed in three months. On top of this, a maintenance staff member came into my apartment today while I was working on my computer with headphones on. There was reason, due to a possible leak that was noticed on the ceiling downstairs, but there was no phone call first before he entered. They need to have permission to enter, and since he knocked and I did not hear it, he came in anyway. This frustrates me because one, who knows how often they may enter if they think you are not home and two, what if I had been in the shower'
Another issue is the heat when the temperature outside is under 15 degrees or so. If we have our heat switch all the way up when the temperature is 30 outside, the apartment gets over 80. However, when the temperature was below zero a few times in the past couple months, with the heat switch all the way up, it would not get warmer than 58 degrees in our apartment. Too much heat was escaping through the windows and there was ice a half inch thick on the door, showing how much heat was actually escaping. So, we turned our shower on for 3 hours to produce heat. Hey, if they won't turn the heat up, we'll use more water. Overall, an ok place, but since the buildings are older and made with inside wooden walls, expect to hear neighbors occasionally, some random noises with pipes, etc. and some issues with the heat when it gets cold outside.

You might want to read your lease very carefully. Some rentals sneak into the lease that they are allowed to enter your apartment for any or no reason at all.

We had the leasing office come in to inspect a few things. My fiance told them that I was showering in the bathroom and they opened the door anyway. A male maintenance guy walked in on me just as I was getting in the shower. I was naked an very upset.
