The apartment is great place if you never have any problems. The staff in the rental office was always very nice to me, that is until I was late on rent because I lost my job. They are "unable" to work with you. I have attempted many times to get out of my lease and have even tried to sub-let it, but they wouldn't allow it. The manager would constantly ask me if I could borrow the money or take out a loan which I ended up having to do, which further added to my already mounting debt from getting into a car accident and being out of work. On top of all of that, my car got broken into and the managment just told me I needed to file a plice report and there was nothing more they could do. I choose this place because of the free cable, which has on occasion gone out during storms, the free internet, which you can never count on because at times it will either go out or is so slow you wonder if it's working. My power has gone out more times than I can count sometimes during a rain storm, which I can understand, but at other times for no apparent reason. As I said if you never plan to have any problems, and never think you'll have a hardship in the time during your lease it's a great place to live.

Of course the office isn't going to 'work with you' after you lose your job! If they did it for you, they would have to do it for everyone! I got laid off and I didn't cry to the office to help me! The office staff is wonderful here. And again, why is it managements fault if your car gets broken into? They have nothing to do with it. Monument Ridge is a great place to live - This person is nuts.

I have to agree with the original post. My fiance and I have lived there for 2 years and are extremely happy to be getting out of this apt. Management is not great we have loud neighbors I'm talking screaming children, parties, loud music and 6am. fighting and many other obnoxious behaviors. Everytime we complained nothing happened EVER. Don't ask them to fix the fridge when it goes out, and if your electrical outlet sparks while unplugging your toaster, "you must be doing something wrong". Our stay started out great but has gone downhill within the last 10 months. Multiple car breakins and constant problems with other tenants and management. You're better off somewhere else
