I can't wait until my lease is up!! My roommate and I had to wait over a month for a new washer. We called in the work order about June 20th and called several times after that to get some kind of status on when maintenance is going to come look at our broken washer. Finally with no response to my calls, on July 1st we went to the office and asked to speak directly to maintenance. We talked to maintenance and he came up to look at the washer later that day. He informed us that they would order a new washer/dryer which would arrive by July 7 or 8. Well those days passed with no new washer and no call as to what the hold up was. We called another time after that and still no response. On July 20th we wrote a letter and faxed it to the office. On July 22nd we had our new washer. I'd like to know why it has to come down to writing a nasty letter in order to get the work done'!'! Okay don't get me wrong, I was thrilled to FINALLY get the new washer but was it absolutely necessary for them to leave a bloody paper towel in the bathroom (not in the garbage-but on top of the toilet) and I am pretty sure they went through my medicine cabinet to get a band-aid. Does the Property not supply a first aid kit to maintenance''''' I feel as though they invaded my privacy and this isn't even the first time they have dug around in places they shouldn't have been in or left garbage behind. I have lived in 4 other apartment complexes and have NEVER had so many problems.
