They are demanding that I renew my lease THREE months before my current lease expires. My lease calls for thirty DAYS.

The apartment is okay -- it looks nicer than it actually is. Meaning that it's a nice layout -- roomy looking -- but there's very little closet space, even in the Master bedroom, and if you enjoy cooking and entertaining, you will be several cupboards short.

They spent a TON of money on painting the hallways a nice shade of mustard brown, new carpets, new pictures....but they won't fix or replace a cheap dishwasher.

The gym' No, we don't have one anymore. It's been closed for three months. The outside parking spaces are inadequate -- and it doesn't help that they use it as a place for the giant garbage dumpster -- which takes up four full spaces.

About 95% of the dog owners are responsible, but nothing is done about the 5% that are not. I'm a dog owner -- I came to SVG because it was one of the few that accepted pets. But the reek from the outside garbage cans is appalling. Why not cover the cans, or hey -- empty them once in awhile!

My apartment was not clean when I moved in. The carpet was and is a stained mess. I have used steam cleaners to no avail -- had to buy throw rugs to hide the mess. The bathtub and fixtures do not come totally clean despite use of industrial strength products. The other fixtures -- like the closet doors -- are cheap and constantly fall off their hinges. The laundry "room" is a tiny closet.

We pay for heat, as expected, but also for water and sewer. Adding this to the rent makes it even less attractive. I do not recommend SVG.
