I have lived at Southview Gables Apartment building for 6 months in the dog-friendly building. It is true that someone circulated a newsletter with some valid complaints. I did find that the concerns in the letter were addressed almost immediately after the newsletter went out, although it is too bad it took a newsletter. The disturbing thing is that the same problems magically reappeared in the form of destruction by resident's or resident's guests. Either way, I feel like management is at least a little responsive. They are always very friendly. This is very much a case of you get what you pay for. I have a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment for $906 a month. It is not a "luxury" building as advertised, but there are some nice amenities including a dog park and a new clubhouse with nice party and game rooms. However, the apartments are about the least sound-proofed that I have lived in. And it is really hard to put up with inconsiderate residents that trash the building. Management can't keep up with the damage caused by them.
