Living at Southview Gables has been a great experience for me. I was a bit worried when I moved in about all I had heard about maintenence problems, but I never experienced any difficulty the whole time I've lived here. In fact, shortly after moving in, my refrigerator wasn't working properly and after calling about it within a day or two I came home to a brand new one in the kitchen! Staff has always been very friendly too. I don't live in a dog building, but they don't have any problems with dogs coming in to visit or even with me dogsitting occasionally.

My only real complaint would be that they are making me repaint my whole apartment and professionally clean the carpets before I move out. In my opinion, that should be their responsibility!

the painting is their responsibility unless you painted crazy colors without permission- the carpet cleanig you are supposed to get once a year- last i knew, so ask for it right before you move- thats what i did
