These apartments are targeted toward students, especially those going to IHCC across the street. The apartments are sort of run like a dorm. You rent your bedroom and share the common areas consisting of a living room, bathroom, and kitchen with your roommates. Rent is cheap, with all utilities included, but that it the only redeeming feature.

The model apartment shown is perfect. The real apartments are crap. If you decide to move in, look at the apartment first and tell them what needs to be repaired before you even move in or it won't get done. Repairs are slow and left half-done.

The office staff is okay. The owner is arrogant and condescending. He believes everyone is a liar. He was very unhelpful when I was having serious problems with my roommates. He constantly questioned the truthfulness of my statements. He never took my concerns seriously and made no effort to investigate them until I called the police when one girl broke into another??s bedroom. His sister is the office manager. I tried to deal with her as much as possible because she was nice.

You might think that the bedrooms are secure because each has a key and lock but they are easily broken into with a credit card. That is how the one girl broke in. I lived there for a year and a half and am glad to be leaving.

You can easily hear conversations and music from the nearby apartments and the 11 p.m. noise curfew is not enforced at all. That's hard when you have to get up at 6 a.m. to go to work.

It was an alright place to start, but you have to be prepared for stressful living conditions.
