Can't Wait To Get Out!!!

When we first moved here, the price was DEFINITELY right for us. However, things ended up costing more for us right away when an alcoholic neighbor kicked in my car door in the middle of the night after beating his wife... Seriously. It also cost us time because of yes, having to call the cops or watching the cops drive into the neighborhood many times. Of course, this is not staffing or management's fault. Just be careful who is living in your section.
The kids around here are CRAZY!!! It is like there are no parents. Kids play in the streets with absolutely no concern for cars and then look at you like your crazy when you try driving through, while they continue batting baseballs and running pell-mell all over the place. Does this place even let parents move in with their kids' OK, again, not a staffing issue but a safety issue to keep in mind.
The one thing that staffing and management could work on is end-of-lease issues. There is ABSOLUTELY NO flexibility. I am trying to buy a house this fall and the office is the worst I've ever dealt with. Most other places give you lease buy-out options and the really good renting companies will let you out of your lease early if you are a first-time homebuyer. Not here. No flexibility, whatsoever. In fact, when I told them I needed to move out, they let me change my lease to another unflexible date AND increased my rent by $200 a month! Ouch.
Lastly, I haven't moved out yet but I hear rumblings that they charge you for yard damage on your way out. What' How can you prove you damaged my yard' Everyone in my housing unit has a dog that pees, there are kids, and there are smokers who throw their butts wherever they feel like. Even though I don't let my dog in my front yard, but I've heard I will be charged $200 for someone else's damage. That SUCKS and I've never heard of a place charging for common property damage that's not included in the "bad faith" non-refundable deposit.
Don't live here unless you: don't drive, can't hear loud parties, have tons of money just sitting around doing nothing, and don't mind the stress of attempting to leave without a serious hassle.
