I have never been through so much BS! anywhere iv'e lived befor!!!!!, Pets are OK'''' Fine at first to get you in then they say NO puppies, NO dogs over 70lbs, NO dogs under 1 Year old (because of rabies!!!), Then they will constantly say you are not picking up your dogs stuff!!!!!!, No boats, No un-drivable cars, basically NO to everything you would have no problem anywhere else!!!!!.

I'll I have to say is DON'T MOVE THERE!!!!!!!, Move in with your parents.....at least they will have some compassion towards your every day life!!!
Also...They LOVE to take you to court!!!!!!!!...Late payment..no problem!!! TELL IT TO THE JUDGE!!!!!!!!

Thanks for posting this review. I've been looking for a community that wants to make sure their residents don't die from rabies and keeps junker cars and boats from taking away parking spaces. And if you've ever rented before, you know that ALL landlords and management companies will take you to court, because they can't discriminate and so keeping everything official is the best way to cover their butts. I think I'll enjoy Southfork if this is their attitude.

I am in agreement with the author. I lost my minivan and everything in it when it was towed after a snow. It broke down and I didn't know I had to push it and I couldn't afford to get it out of impound. Couldn't even retrieve my belongings without paying the fee. And yes, they LOVE to take you to court. Where I live now they treat me like a human even if I am not on time with my rent. Southfork was a nightmare!! It was dirty, poorly maintained and over-priced. Keep your sanity -- don't move there!!
