Lots of space with a view

I'm pretty amused by the whiny people on here. Worse than living with your parents' Come on. Anyway, I like my place just fine; nice view and it's got lots of space, especially compared to my former tiny apartment in the city. The commute's worth it, and the grocery store across the street is pretty nice too. Haven't had a lot of interaction with the office or maintenance so far, but they all seem ok. Here's a little secret for all the whiners: PAY YOUR RENT ON TIME. EVERY TIME. Easiest way to make sure your landlord likes you and treats you well.

I paid on time every time, and thought the place was below average. there was mold in my windows, cat urine soaked carpet when I moved in, and they didn't plow us out of the snow for 3 days after a blizzard.
Not to mention the 10s of kids that hang in the street and don't move out of the way even after asking so I could get home every day. Hope you enjoy the rest of your year there. you might change your mind.

Your lucky you haven't had any interactions with the staff or maintenance. You ask them to fix things and they do it half assed or not at all. Maybe you have decent neighbors also. We had neighbors that are known felons for drug usage and constantly calling the office about our dog pooping on the front lawn and numerous other things. See the wife is I think bipolar and she never worked a day in her life and she's young and didn't have anything better to do than to cause problems for my family and other residents next door. As far as maintenance goes the one fat sob that rides around on his gulf cart thinks he's more like a security guard walking past your windows and looking in on you at all hours. It was very disturbing and a violation of our privacy. And as for the management, they are suppose to give you 24 hrs before enter your unit and they did not do that for us so we got them on entering without permission and invasion of privacy. I'm glad to be out of there and not having to worry about goofy neighbors and incompetant staff. And we're paying $209.00 less for a 4 1/2 bedroom house in Minnetonka. Hopefully you don't have to deal what we had to deal with. We would have kids just walk right in through our front door unannounced like they lived there. That would be the goofy neighbor kids. I think of the place more like a glorified trailer park than beautiful townhomes. Good luck with the rest of your stay there.
