I just moved in and am very happy at Southfork. I had to move in a hurry and the staff here has been very helpful. The one thing I wasn't sure about was the school district but my kids love school here. I really like my neighbors and my home here. I've rented and owned in the past and haven't liked renting due to the fact that I had to live so close to others and here it seems like the homes are more spread out and that there is space between you and your neighbors. It does make a difference and I like it. When I came on to this website to write this review I was shocked to see that another resident was complaining about so many rules. I think the staff is up front and honest about what is and isn't allowed here upon moving in. It makes me feel that this is a safe place to raise my family to know that there are rules in place. I don't see kids running around all over like the other review either. Maybe they just don't like kids period. I've seen way worse at some rental properties. The families and kids at Southfork are very well behaved out of what I've seen and met so far. I would recommend Southfork if you're looking to live south of the river. I really like it.
