We just recieved our move out inspection letter and to our surprise they said we owe them money instead of getting our deposit back. We busted our asses cleaning the f****** place and we get nothing back in return. They also said we breached our lease contract. That's a bunch of --------. We paid our rent on time and we even paid the last month's rent when we weren't even living there. I was also told that we wouldn't have to pay our dog rent for February since we were already moved out and all we had to pay was the $1059.00. Well when we got our statement they charged us for the dog rent. I have never in my entire life of renting met a group of incompetent -------s in my life. The maintenance sucks, the mangement sucks and then we also had neighbors that are meth heads. I guess if you are trailer park trash you would fit in just fine there. My recommendation is to STAY FAR FAR AWAY. All they care about is getting your money. I reported to them about the back bedroom getting broken into and they never replaced the screen - we paid for it. And I reported when they knocked off one of my nic nacs off the wall when they were jack hammering the sidewal a week later than what they were suppose to. Never got a phone call back about that. It pisses me off too because it was a lighted wolf plate that my mother bought me and it can't be replaced and it was valued at about $100.00. ----(the manager) is a two faced ----- along with the rest of the crooked incompetent -------s she's got working for her. I do plan on contacting the renter's association, the better business bureau, and whoever else I need to contact to report how crooked and incompetent Southfork is and hopefully no one else will get the shaft like we did. The whole place is a SH**HOLE. Maybe you need to read that a little closer. I didn't blame it all on the neighbors. The whole place sucks from mangement to maintenance to the mangement letting drug heads move into their establishment. I have a son and I don't want him around people like that.

Maybe you can't blame the neighbor problems on the complex but the other 99% of the post is TRUE!! Management only cares about getting money out of you and NEVER EVER sticks to their promises!!! When we moved in they were SUPER nice and then the first time we needed them to fix something that broke down (like the washer and dryer that have now broke down 5 times in 4 months) they completely changed into grade d -------s!! They are unprofessional and impossible to work with!! It is very VERY obvious they have their favorite tenants and then treat everyone else like ants they want to pee on! Just a word of advice to possible future tenants: DONT! When we moved in, our neighbors told us to find some other place but we were told by management they were just mad b/c they got in trouble for paying their rent late...if I had one wish, I would go back and listen to our neighbot!! RUN AWAY...FAR AWAY!!!

I have a friend who just recently moved out. She scrubbed the place clean. I had better warn her. Also, I wonder if you're going to get calls from someone claiming to be Southfork's "attorney" with regard to the debt they think you owe them. If you do, please write again. I think the MN bar association should be aware of it.
