The problems with Southfork for my husband and I started on day 1. When we got to our apartment to start moving our things in our apartment was a filthy digusting place that hadn't been cleaned. There was nasty animal hair all over the carpet, our kitchen floor was very very visably dirty, the carpet had cigarette burns, there was old food and garbage behind our fridge and so many more problems. We've had several maintenance issues with the place and not once has it ever been solved in a timely manner. I notified the office 3 MONTHS AGO that our front door leaks cold air really bad and it still has yet to be fixed. We had closet doors that continuously broke off the track and it took them a month to respond to one request for it to be fixed and then when the doors kept breaking because they weren't fixing the problem they didn't want to even try to fix it anymore. The maintenance people look like they're on meth and should not be trusted to enter an apartment unsupervised by the tenant. Their snow plowing sucks! They try to save money by having one of their maintenance people do it, but it's such a terrible job, there's always tons of snow left in the lots. They never set aside a time for people to move their vehicles and there's too many cars and not enough street parking for people to just park on the street and wait for the lot to be cleared. They don't clear the sidewalks promptly after it snows. This place is a complete rip off and is not worth what they charge for rent. If they try taking my damage deposit I will take them to court over it because we had to deep clean the apartment ourselves just to move in and I have pictures and other documentation to prove it. This place had made me not want to come home for fear of something else in our apartment breaking. This is the worst place I have ever lived.
