HORRIBLE PLACE

This place is horrible. Our problems also started on day 1. They were trying to charge us more then what they told us for the animal and they fixed the lease and we signed the new lease and then they call us and tell us something was wrong on the lease that we signed so we had to sign another lease. We moved into the place in April and the first day we moved in, we saw that the carpet was in horrible shape, it had tears and stains all over the place, the entry way looked like a dog was trying to dig itself out of the place because it was all torn up. The screen in one of the bedrooms was never replaced and torn, the cabinets were coming apart, and the garage door wasn't working. It took us from April to October to finally get someone to come out and fix the garage door after finally yelling at them. The maintenance I am not sure what they do all day, because you have to call three times before someone will come out and fix something and the only reason why they finally came is because i told them that i would take the amount that i spend in fixing it off my rent. Then here comes move out day. All I got to say is make sure you keep your Move In day check list because they tried to charge us for stuff that we marked on the check in list. They took all of our security deposit and we still had to owe them close to $500 dollars, however, because I still had the check in list of everything I marked, they finally took it off and we didn't have to owe them anything. They like to seem to screw everyone over on a lot of stuff. They were even trying to charge us 12 months of pet rent after we moved out even though we were paying on it every month and then trying to charge us for a pet fee for unauthorized pets but it cleary states in our lease that we had a pet. The place is horrible, I would never recommend anyone moving in there unless they are prepared to have their whole security deposit taken plus some away from them. Oh and if you don't replace the little drip pans in the oven, they charge $150.00 for that and $175.00 for sweeping the garage out. OH and if you do decide to move here, make sure that you have a furnance filter because we never had a furnance filter in our furnance and had to buy one ourselves. If you have 5 stains, they will charge $250.00 for them to be cleaned. This place would be my last resort if I ever had to move back to all the places I have rented before. I have always got my security deposit back from all 5 places that I have lived at except for this one. DO NOT MOVE THERE YOU WILL GET SCREWED you can find a much better place for the price we were paying for.
