Do NOT rent from this complex!

My daughters rented a 2 bedroom apartment from Southfork. During that time, one of them lost their job. Southfork has a "deal" where they will let you out of the lease if you pay them $1000 to re-rent the apartment. We did just that. The apartment was rented in less than 1 week. We were asked to move out ASAP, so they could paint etc. We did, being as helpful as we possibly could be. The new tennent moved in 26 days later. Southfork then charged us an additonal $4000K plus. What they don't tell you is that they charge what they call a "concessions" fee. I was floored. Obviously if we had that kind of money, we wouldn't have needed to move out in the first place! They were rude and extremely difficult to work with. I was informed that we had 2 days to pay the fee, or it would be settled in court. Honestly, I should have taken the court option, and would have if I had additonal time to miss work. I do not recommend this place. They will get you where it hurts the most...in the pocket book.
