great if you live a average life

My experience was mixed and I only lived there for 2 and a half years. For the most part it is a good place as long as you live a average life of working first shift and are not on the road for extended periods. Unfortunately for me I worked third shift and traveled a lot. They do their inspections of the apartments regularly, which I am all for, but I sleep during the day, they would not work with me to do my appartment first thing in the morning or last thing in the afternoon. Everytime they would post saying they were going to do them I would ask and everytime I was told they were doing them in order, no exceptions so everytime they would barge in to my apartment while I was sleeping. Also since I traveled a lot I had to buy an in door parking spot because they would tow my car if I left it in the same place for too many days. Then when I moved out I was played to keep my deposit. I told them when I signed my last lease, a six month lease that I would be moving out at the end of that lease and put it in writing at that time. but 2 months before my lease was up I called back(I was on the raod for work) on the 2nd to make sure they received my rent check on time I was told they had no record of my intent to move out at the end of that lease and since it was now the 2nd I had to either sign a new lease or pay one months rent beyond the end of my lease at the month to month rate. I choose the month to month rate and pushed out my move to my new place by one month but about a week before the end of my normal lease I receive my move out document that said i had to be out by the end of that month and that I could not stay the extra month I was told I had to. Very confused I moved my move date back up a month but with only a couple days notice I was unable to get a truck so I had to move in cars which was yet another nightmare. But to make matters worse after I moved out instead of my deposit back I received a letter saying that I owed them money for breaking my lease and moving out early. After several phone calls they dropped that tactic and instead sent me an itemized bill of where my security check went. I was getting nothing back because my appartment was supposedly was so dirty that it needed extreme cleaning and patchwork. Mind you I went out and rented a steam cleaner and cleaned the entire appartment myself before leaving. After several phone calls on this tactic, it finally ended with me dropping it because as they pointed out I couldn't prove that the appartment didn't need the extra cleaning and taking them to court would cost more then deposit was worth. So for 90% of my time there it was a good place to live but the 10% was so bad that I can't recomend it.
