Issues have to be solved before I can recommend it

I lived there for 2 years. I was impressed by their maintenance team. But there are some big issues after I moved in. I wouldn't recommend this apartment for the following reasons:
First, in the long winter, Grand Pre' east leasing office often arranges snow-plowing for the parking lot. Sometimes they put the notice on some entrance doors just one day before the snow-plowing. I accidentally forgot to move my car from the parking lot. I had to pay more than $360 car-towing fee. There are quite a few people who got their car towed that way.
Second, the package-sending/receiving system is very poorly managed. There is no receipt or tracking number when you have a package for Fedex/UPS to pickup (They have no access to the rest of the building). I lost my laptop due to their negligence. When one picks the packages up, no signiture is required.
Finally, when I moved out, they got most of my deposit. I spent two days cleaning in the apartment, I still got a "decent" penalty for cleaning.

Snow Plowing notices are posted at least 3 days prior to, it is possible the resident did not see the notice until the day before. Before vehicles are towed for the complete snow removal, management will contact the resident personaly to remove the vehicle in question or will try to plow around the car if necessary. Grand Pre East has not towed any vehicles in the winter season of 2008-2009. Regarding package deliveries by USP, UPS or Fed Ex: The delivery service is responsible for notifying residents of the delivery, the package is signed out at pick up at the front desk and residents are notified by phone every Sunday if they have not picked up the package during the week.
