I lived in a studio apartment from Nov '06 to Nov '07 and I loved it. The managers have been there a long time and are very professional, personable and actually remember your name and many times your apt number. They notify you promptly if you receive a package and handle paperwork and everything quickly and efficiently. The apartments are located at the end of a street where there is a middle school and elementary school further up, so it is very safe in my opinion. There are security guards overnight that monitor the entrances and parking lots.

They use key cards to enter the apartment complex, fitness room, sauna and indoor heated pool. There are two game rooms with fooseball and pool tables. These and the indoor courtyard is only accessible to residents. There is an outdoor pool as well as mini golf.

They have 3 full-time maintenance workers who are also very friendly and personable. I talked to them daily, and they do a great job of keeping the hallways, grounds etc clean. They even helped me when I moved out by showing me how to clean the oven, and gave me light bulbs to replace the ones that had burned out.

I had pretty much no problem with noise, which was important to me because I worked 2 jobs while living there and valued my peace and quiet. They have a large laundry center on each floor and I almost never had to wait to use them. I even forgot a load in the dryer overnight once, and it wasn't stolen.

All in all this is a wonderful place to live; very clean, professional management who are easy to get to know, and a great location near downtown St. Paul.
