Stay away from Mallard Ridge if you want to keep your sanity. Your neighbors will consist of people who listen to their TV at top volume until all hours of the night, people who stink like garbage that makes the entire building smell and other people who leave 30 pairs of shoes strewn about in the hallways. One couple that was living next to us actually moved out because of the stench coming from the neighboring apartment. As soon as our lease is up we are out of here. Be careful...management will lure you in with promises of great things, they will show you an apartment that looks amazing and then move you into one that looks nothing like the one they showed you. There is NO water pressure for the shower, it comes out in a trickle and takes at least 10 minutes to warm up to barely warm enough to shower. I have to shower at the Lifetime nearby if I want a real shower. They pay for the water but I would rather pay myself and be able to shower in the place I am paying almost $1300/month to live in. They will do nothing about the noise or garbage and shoes left sitting in the hallways. I'm tempted to start calling the police every time I have a problem with the noise...if they get enough calls this will soon be considered a problem property and maybe management will finally do something about it.

Not only stay away but dont recommend this place to any of your friends. I agee 150% with the author above. I too have filthy, inconsiderate stinking neighbors, maybe that is the Indian way but I am used to having some solitude and with the shack construction of these apartments there is none of that here. God forbid you have an apartment above the garages because the noise of the garage openers will keep you awake all nite. The inside doors do not have door closers on them (supposedly because of fire codes) with is total BS. So the doors are constanly being let to slam shut because it would take someone with some intellegence to turn around and keep it from slamming shut. Neighbors are leaving the garage doors open and then the apartment above is freezing, again because of the very poor construction and insulation. I have threatened my neighbors with calling the police because of noise but that sure doesnt work. I have at least 2 familys living in an apartment across from me (more traffic in an out). Management wont even try to do anything about that. I too will be out of here when my lease is up. And they don't tell you about the cost to break a lease. The cost for that is 2 months notice one month $250 that is a horrendus cost. The garage doors are about to fall off the tracks and snow is constantly blowing into the garage because of the lack of maintantence on the doors. You are not able to sit in your apartment with out having alot of cloths on and hope that your furnace can keep up the heat.
