I've been at this apartment since October and have been overall pretty satisfied. In winter the apartment did get rather cold in the evenings (during the day it was fine) but I imagine this is a problem with any old radiant heat building. I have a friend who lives down the street in another building who has to open his windows to keep from roasting; nothing's perfect.

The bathroom is quite small, and at certain times there isn't much hot water (think after 7:30 am on a weekday, around 2 pm on a weekend). The kitchen is pretty large for the size of the rest of the unit, and has newer appliances and countertops. The stove is gas, which is included in the rent. Adjacent to the kitchen is a rather large dining area, which I use as a little office space. The main room is big for a studio, and has enough room for a queen size bed, a loveseat or futon and a cushy arm chair.

Off street parking is available for $50/month, but it is limited and not all resdients have a spot. They aren't super punctual about plowing the lot, but it is usually done the morning after it snows.

Maybe I live on a quiet wing, but I haven't had the problems with noise that some of the other reviewers have. I can occasionally hear people's tv/radio when I'm in the hall, but from my apartment the only noise is from 94. My theory on that one is that if you don't like the noise of a freeway, you probably shouldn't live in a 90 year old building right next to one.
