good enough for a 1st place to live - For being my first place I as well didn't expect much. It was very nice at first, the biggest issue I had is that they changed their property manager 3 times within the year that I lived there. They never could get repair orders in timely or correctly: 1. When I first moved in there was no closet rod, I mentioned it the first day and I had to wait 10-12 days for it to arrive. 2. ...Full review of Burgundy Apartments

Great place to live! - I've rented a 1 bedroom here for almost a year and I absolutely love it! I'm paying more than I would like to, but to me it's worth it. I'm on an upper floor with a great view of Lake Calhoun and downtown. It's a very sturdy building and I rarely hear any noise, except for the occasional toilet flushing (which I can only hear when I'm in my bathroom...and I also ...Full review of Calhoun Towers

Better than expected... - I found this place by accident when I was leaving a visit across the street. I walked in and they showed me an available 1 bedroom. I was psyced! Not only was it really a big place, but it had a fireplace! Someone earlier said they had seen some "thugs" about. I asked the manager about it (Kim) and she said they have a zero tollerence for disruptive residence, and something about ...Full review of Emerald Pointe Apartments

We Love it here! - My son and I have lived here for almost 3 years now and I don't have anything bad to say. The grounds are nice. Maintenance is wonderful! I have called in 3 work orders in one year and they always come the sameday! Awsome! I think that the maintence men have been here for a longtime. My son and I go swimming all the time there and I enjoy grilling on the deck when he's playing ...Full review of Plymouth Square at 37th

Good to live BUT.. - I moved here after moving out of Point of America (across the street!) and lived in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was a nice size 4 of use easily lived and had our own space and it worked well. The pools were well kept and it was awesome having an indoor pool because it was cold and you could swim year round. Like others have said the "gym" was kinda ghetto but the machines ...Full review of Windsor Gates Apartments

Dated building, poor new management, great location - Lots of thugs and homeless frequent the area around the hotel. The appliances were dated and scratched, the original early 80s linoleum was caked with buildup, and the general feel inside the apartments was dingy. The management was very slow to respond to reports of a rotting cabinet door. The fix was simply to paint over the rot, leaving the paint to peel again a few months ...Full review of One Ten Grant

Can't wait to move - The pros: The unit I am living in was recently remodeled and is, therefore, clean. The management/maintenance staff are wonderful! Underground parking is available (extra fee, limited capacity). Close to the U of MN, Augsburg, and downtown Minneapolis. Close to light rail and bus stops. The cons: Freeway/motorcycle bar noise is really obnoxious. The heating/air ...Full review of Minnehaha 94
