Apartments are fine; they are basically maintained and clean. They are located in a great neighborhood, but there are so many more options out there to rent from. This place is a total bait and switch. You get a good rent price at first and then they jack up the rates after one year. The manager comes off as attentive and nice in the beginning and then soon disappears when there's a maintenance problem. Appliances are crap, the carpet is cheap (the fibers clogged my vacuum!), and the cabinets are outdated. The manager turns into a total grouch when something breaks, and even went so far as to blame me for a broken dishwasher (he even called me a liar to my face). I am an educated, successful professional who pays her rent on time every month, and I didn't appreciate being treated like a nuisance.

I completely agree!!! He is a horrible person, and clearly does not like younger people, or maybe women. I would suggest putting more of a people person in his position if he can't deal with different people. Unfortunately, I still live there, but I would NEVER reccomend it to a friend!
