First of all, DO NOT MOVE HERE---Here are my reasons.
Managment likes to play with people. THe mail man is really noisy, and is a complete pervert. Fire Alarm always goes off, but not many fires. They seem to go off around 10-4 A.M. People sit in the hall and drink 40 oz beers and leave wrappers, food, condems, used and unused. My car has been broken into 3 times since I lived there. There garages do not lock right. They never shovel the walk ways. There has been arson here, drug raids, and Plymouth PD is here every day and night. There are over 300 units there and alot of different people. This is also low income housing. That will give you a clue. You will hate living here. Just do not make a mistake. There is one good thing, the Lake is close by. Oh wait, the pool and elevator. Pool seems always closed and people like to pee in the elevator and work out room in the saunas. Thats all!

I lived there a year or two back. I absolutely confirm everything in this review. When my wife and I moved in(about three years ago) it was a decent place. Not super-ritzy, but a good value. Then, within a twelve-month span, it became a complete ghetto. And, curiously, this seemed to coincide with their sudden interest in becoming Section 8 Housing. Hey, if you really like having your car broken into, ear-splitting fire alarms at all hours for no reason, and a chorus of bass-heavy music punctuated by screaming matches and police sirens, I heartily recommend ATL. Otherwise, I suggest you find a cardboard box in an alley--it's a far better place for the money!! |

I currently live there and I agree with every word written above, even the response from a little less than a year earlier. This place is a tenement and not fit for living in. I know for a fact that the only reason that they are interested in section 8 housing is that they can charge the government more money which is what they do. The management is less than stellar and I'm sure that the reason why there's been so much turnover in that area is because there is so much conflict in that area in general. The managment does not pay attention to resident needs only lip service. There are a lot of people who live in ATL that are druggies not limited to pot, but apparently the smell of meth has been identified to me as well by someone I know. I say you should only live here if you can't afford it. By can't afford, I mean don't have a car to sleep in or a cardboard box for that matter...
