I liked it there..

I lived at "At the Lake" for only 6 months in 2004, but I liked it very much. It is the first apartment I had lived in for 30 years, so I was moving from a large house. But after I got used to being away from my house, I did like it. The building and grounds were nice. The hallways were nicely lighted. The staff was friendly -- there was only one noise problem which the staff took care of as soon as I told them about it. The indoor pool was awesome. It was very large and huge windows on two sides, so was always filled with light. The balconies were large and private. And the setting was great -- right on the lake. I could walk to the beach or walk to a boat rental place. I always felt safe taking a walk in the dark because it is a nice neighborhood. I would move back, and am thinking of doing just that. Only problem: Cats were allowed but there was a pet policy that I was never told about. I did have cats there.
