Way to much $$ to live with criminals-buy a house instead
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 12/2/2003
Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003
My husband and I moved into this building in 2001. At the time it was owned by Avalon. Although it was expensive, it was worth it to be living in a decent building with respectable working people. All that changed last May when Avalon sold the building to Lamar managment. Suddenly this luxury apartment home became a haven for criminals. The hallways are constantly vandilised, and the management does nothing to fix it. Lights in the stairwells are left burnt out for several days at a time, which makes it very difficult to step over the chicken bones and vomit that are usually found on the floor. The new tennents often have loud parties in the entry way which is really embarrassing when you have guests over. Gross men often sexually harass me, yet refuse to even hold a door for me. My next door neighbor beats his girlfriend all night and she screams about killing herself and their baby cries all night. People try to walk into your apartment all the time or stand and knock at your door for 5-10 minutes until they realize that your aren't answering.
Overall Horrible place, but it did convince us to buy a house, so thats a plus I guess.
