The building was first built as a hotel in the 1920's, then later converted into apartments. The old hotel charm is still there.

It's a good place to live as far as location, it's close to the lakes, Loring Park, and a wide variety of stores and restraunts. It's very quiet as far as internal noise. I can't hear my neighbors, and have received no complaints even though I like my music loud.
Street noise can occasionally be a problem though.

It's close to two buslines and my college as well, so I will be sad to leave. The apartments are nice, no air conditioning, and the paint job could use work, but other than that, they're great!

The staff is very friendly and helpful.
