This 1000 W. Franklin Ave at one time "Before the section 8 took over" was a Beautiful a worth renting from, but know it leaves much to be desired. Management is unresponsive and maintenance is poor. The external locks are difficult to get in and the heating is sporadic in the winter (5 nights woke up to internal temps in the 50s). I wouldn't recommend living in these apartments. Oh yeah, and a hooker lived next door that smoked a lot of weed.

The Pictures of the unite you see posted for this Building are the old photos from the time when it was a clean and safe building, until the management changed and the State low income housing took over. Do Not get fooled and sucked in by Mary the Manager with her cheap talk of renewing the lease or even the ASSET Management.

The last but not the least, If you already live in the Belmont and plan to give your "notice of moving out" be sure to tell the manager you would prefer to be present while she is showing your unite, not only myself I have experienced my belonging missing from my unite after giving my notice but also I have heard the same experience from former tenets.
