GREAT location BUT....everything is downhill from there. Warning, you pay top dollar for your unit so you get the "club" experience, but everything is extra, and there is no longer anything more than a open to the public healthclub. You can go to Lifetime fitness for that. The pool and fitness center are only available during the club hours, so residents do not get any extra benefits at all. There is no longer any of the storied club features, including concierge service, the Solarium Dining Club...it is all a shadow of its past. But the worst thing is the rude management staff. And they raise your rent terribly in year 2. They get you in at a good price then gouge you. Everyone who leaves the Calhoun Beach Club leaves very bitter as a result of the poor treatment they get at the management office. It is too bad also that they have left the property go so far downhill. Don't forget there are a number of Section 8 housing units in there, so you have to deal with that while you are paying 3 times more with them living next to you. I rate this apartment only average. But if proximity to the lake is what you want, you will pay dearly for it. After all it is frozen more than half the year...is it worth it'
