I have read all the reviews for Canterbury and I can tell you most of it is sadly true. I lived there for 3 years and moved out when they wanted to raise my rent at the last renewal. It is an older building and it does have its problems but what did it for me was the frequent unannounced visits from the maintenance staff when I wasn t home. I came home to a mysterious coffee cup left behind in the bathroom with no note or phone call. Who was in my apartment' What were they doing' How long has this been going on' Unacceptable and illegal!
The area was safe. I never had any damages or thefts of my stuff. I was on the 3rd floor so it was quite accept when the fire alarm was going off again (read the other reviews). Forget about the fitness room. It s NASTY and the tread mill intermittently shuts off when you are running at full speed! I racked my nuts pretty good one time. The Laundry rooms on every floor was nice but over priced.
The pool was fun when it was clean. For some reason in 08 they thought it was acceptable to just top off the accumulated spring rain water give it a dash of chlorine and call it good. (See attached picture) After a pipe broke and the entire pool drained into the parking garage they finally got it right. Not that many small children ether (I hate screaming kids).
Parking was OK with off street and on. I got along fine with management although I never really talked to them. Take a look at the place for yourself for the price wasn t worth it to me.

Lies and Distortions? Where is that extra money you're bleeding off the tenants going to? Certainly it's not going to fix up the place, and in judging by the lack of people wanting to move in, those so-called "Lies and Distortions" are only in that warped little mind of yours.
Also, why is it things only get done when a massive event occurs? If it takes the underground parking being flooded to change out the pool water, will someone have to be castrated to fix the treadmill?
As with the economy, prices must reflect the current situation, but the lack of upkeep, and devious comments ensure that the "Demand" factor will not meet your ever-expanding supply.
