I have to say I really liked Melrose... the people, my neighbors, the maintenance guys, all of it. I'm writing becuase I was in the office yesterday with a question about my moveout and saw some parent screaming at Mike, the manager. I felt so bad for him becuase it was like they thought they were the only people in the building, and I was trying to ask a question with one of the other people in the office and the leasing agent said, "I'll have to check with my manager, but he's... a little tied up at the moment." I didn't hear wht they were complaining about, but I noticed the kid wasn't there (prolly cuz s/he was embarrassed by the way their parents were dealing with it that way -- I would've been).

Anyway, Melrose was pretty good, and in my job I deal with a lot of crabby people, so I give them credit for how good it was for me, and I know my roommates agreed too (two of them renewed - and the other is moving in with her bf).

Good job Melrose.

I have been living here for almost 2 full years. I must say I really like it. The location is perfect...basicly right at th University, but NOT a dorm...this is a really nice apt. n apt with it's own gym/with tanning beds, a theater, which you can rent for FREE (they also have events such as Comedy from ACME comedy company twice a month with FREE food and thats FREE)...It also has In The Building...A small restaurant bar counter, The food is goo (not bad price/cheaper than Chipolte or Burger King....and It is INSIDE. This is Minnasota INSIDE.YES YOU DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE THE BLDG. For what I pay ..I couldn't be happier....WAIT the windows could open ond there COULD be a pool.
